Conference leadership
I’m the Content Director for BSides Bloomington and have served on its board for the past four years.
My content work includes developing the call for presentations, reviewing proposals, supporting speakers, and shaping the program. I also help with the practical work of putting the conference together.
Developing talent through participation
I got involved in BSides to help train the community and build a stronger pipeline of cybersecurity talent. For people early in their careers, that means opportunities to learn and to contribute: sharing an idea, giving a talk, or helping others understand a problem.
That broader commitment to professional development shapes how I lead teams. I want people to build confidence and capability by taking responsibility, contributing their judgment, and seeing the value of their work. BSides is one way I put that approach into practice.
