CoreWeave
Operational workflows for a Critical Infrastructure Command Center.
Completed three-month contract engagement
The challenge
A command center needs a repeatable way to document, diagnose, and escalate infrastructure problems. In a growing data center estate, different site conditions and uneven telemetry make a single generic procedure difficult to apply.
My contribution
I helped establish operational workflows for CoreWeave’s Critical Infrastructure Command Center (CICC), focused on gray-space data center infrastructure. My work centered on the call-center personnel’s process for recording and diagnosing problems.
I developed an AI-assisted triage flywheel and supporting procedures and runbooks, and helped conduct tabletop exercises to train personnel. The aim was to connect incoming information with a structured next step that an operator could follow and explain.
Delivered work and follow-through
The triage flywheel was reported in use after the engagement. The work also surfaced differences between sites and gaps in telemetry. I recommended site-specific run cards and qualified on-site follow-up to document actual conditions.
Guidance for future alert-management systems and a tactical dashboard formed a further set of recommendations. Those future capabilities were separate from the workflows and training delivered during my engagement.
