Le Droit Humain
Shared inquiry. Equal participation. A wider perspective.
I’m affiliated with Le Droit Humain. I joined in part to broaden my perspectives and spend time with people beyond my usual professional circles.
Equality and freedom of conscience
Le Droit Humain is an international co-Masonic order: women and men share in Masonic work on equal terms. Its principles bring together personal development, fellowship, and a commitment to liberty, equality, fraternity, and social justice.
Its secular approach rests on independence from religious institutions and respect for each person’s freedom of conscience. The Order professes no dogma. People with varied social and ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and philosophical perspectives can take part in a shared search for understanding.
Ritual, symbolism, study, and reflection offer ways to examine ideas and grow alongside others. That inclusive spirit makes room for thoughtful differences while connecting individual development with responsibility toward the wider community.
